Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions
Who can purchase from Biogenomics?
Products are available exclusively to licensed medical providers and qualified researchers in the United States. During registration, your NPI number and state license are verified against the NPPES National Provider Registry. We do not sell to consumers.
What does 'For Research Use Only' mean?
All peptide API products sold through this platform are designated For Research Use Only (RUO). They are not intended for human consumption and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Purchasers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations governing the use of research materials.
Where are your products manufactured?
All peptide APIs are manufactured in the United States by our cGMP-compliant, API-certified manufacturing partner. We do not source from overseas manufacturers.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A COA is a third-party laboratory report documenting the identity, purity, potency, endotoxin levels, microbial limits, and heavy metals content of a specific production lot. Every lot we sell includes a COA, accessible through the provider portal.
Which states do you ship to and how long does it take?
We ship to licensed providers in all 50 US states. Continental US deliveries arrive in 2 business days via UPS or FedEx ground. Hawaii and Alaska deliver in 3–4 business days via USPS. Standard order processing time is 48 business hours prior to shipment, and we ship Monday through Friday only — orders placed Friday after 5pm PT begin processing the following Monday.
Do you require a signature on delivery?
Orders valued over $5,000 require signature confirmation upon delivery. Smaller orders ship without a signature. You may waive signature confirmation in writing for any order, but Biogenomics is not responsible for missing or misdelivered packages once a waiver is on file.
What is your return and refund policy?
Returns are accepted only on products delivered in damaged or tampered condition. Damage must be reported within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence and lot codes. All returns must be initiated within 14 days of the original order date. A 20% restocking fee applies and you are responsible for return shipping costs. We do not accept returns of products that have been opened, used, or stored outside labeled conditions.
How does ordering work?
After registration and credential verification, you access the provider portal where you can browse the full catalog with pricing, view COAs, and place orders directly. Some providers work with a Biogenomics sales rep for ongoing support; either way, the catalog and pricing in the portal are the same. Orders must be placed during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST).
Is there a minimum order?
Yes. A minimum opening order is established at account qualification based on your anticipated volume and clinical scope, and is communicated by your Biogenomics sales representative. Reorder minimums and volume-based pricing tiers are also available — details are visible in the provider portal after registration.
How do I report a damaged or missing shipment?
Damaged packages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence. Lost or misdelivered shipments must also be reported within 48 hours of the indicated delivery date. Email info@thebiogenomics.com with your order number, lot code, and photos. Failure to report within 48 hours may release Biogenomics from replacement obligations.
How do I report an adverse event or patient reaction?
Adverse events must be reported to Biogenomics immediately. Email info@thebiogenomics.com with the patient outcome (de-identified per HIPAA), product name, lot code, and date of administration. We maintain records of all reports and may follow up for additional information.
What licensing does your manufacturer hold?
Our US-based manufacturing partner holds both 503A traditional compounding and 503B FDA-registered outsourcing facility licenses — an uncommon dual posture for peptide API supply. They operate under cGMP, run continuous in-house R&D for formulation and lyophilization technique, and provide a third-party Certificate of Analysis on every lot.
What is the connection between the peptide API line and Biogenomics' other products?
Biogenomics has over 20 years of experience in regenerative medicine, including exosome-based solutions and advanced skincare. The peptide API line extends this foundation — applying the same quality standards and research rigor to a direct-to-provider peptide supply chain.
